THE ROSEWARNE AVIARY PROJECT

The Rosewarne Aviary Project is a new collaboration with Duchy College Rosewarne, to assist captive breeding decisions. The collection houses more than 20 bird species, many of which are sexually monomorphic.

Via genetic analysis, we aim to confirm the sex of individuals to help better inform breeding decisions and captive management processes. Please see our news page and social media for updates on the project.
